Christopher is a British-born designer and founder of his own design practice which specialises Design & Visualisation. The studio is based in Rotterdam (The Netherlands) and was founded (2010) to accommodate his creativity, conceptual thinking and desire for perfection. His rich and varied experience has lead to an impressive body of work and collaborations with some of the most prolific identities in his field. Although working predominantly as an accessible freelance designer/collaborator there are also a number of self-directed works which celebrate his vision and craftsmanship. 

His areas of expertise are Furniture design, Product development, Branding & Corporate Identity, 3D modelling, Rendering & Visualisations, Technical drawings (Draftsman), DTP (Print & Publications) and luxury post-print production (Hot foil press). 

Although still in its infancy the studio is quickly becoming known as the ‘turn-to’ place for creativity, originality and beautifully hand crafted items.

Christopher Graduated in Furniture & Product design (2006) from ‘The School of architecture, Design and The Built Environment’. (The Nottingham Trent University).

He spent several months as a trainee at the Marcel Wanders studio in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. This traineeship became a solid foundation for his career in design allowing him to embrace his creativity and to enjoy the process of experimentation with materials and ideas. 

Alongside this Christopher also spent time with the emerging design label Moooi. It was during this time where Casper Vissers (Co-founder of Moooi) recognised his potential and presented an opportunity to become a permanent member of the Moooi team. 

After graduation Christopher relocated from England to The Netherlands and began his career with Moooi where he worked with many renowned designers on branding and the development of products for the Moooi collection. In 2008 his skills in the 2D & 3D fields lead to the creation of a unique role of ‘Product Creativity & Information’, a position designed specifically for him in recognition of his artistic abilities to bridge the gap between Corporate Identity and Product Development.

Since 2010, Christopher has had continued success in creating and developing exciting new products under the self-titled ‘CMc Studio’.

The most recent and most celebrated collaboration has been with Casper Vissers and Sjoerd Vroonland on designing and developing a new collection of interior products under the title ‘Revised’. For a number of years working under the radar the new collection was born, demonstrating the best of his abilities in design and visualisation, product development and interior design and it is a collaboration which continues to flourish today.
